We designed and trained interviewers for a successful National Travel Survey in 2015. The survey was repeated in 2018 – but this time the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport wanted to do the fieldwork in-house rather than outsource it to a market research firm.
Our role was to assist the Ministry to understand all aspects of survey operation, marketing and management. Liz Ampt also trained 29 interviewers and supervisors to carry out face to face interviews across the entire country in 14 weeks. The response rate achieved was 91% (% of households where every person participated)
